Full description
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour in Aswan. Your first stop is the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to save Egypt from the flooding of the Nile. The Dam provides a huge water reservoir known as Lake Nasser, one of the biggest artificial lakes in the world.
Afterwards, you will get to visit the unfinished obelisk (the largest known ancient obelisk), and see how the ancient Egyptians used to cut them.
Finally, you will get to sail along the Nile to visit the majestic Philae temple which was built in honor of the goddess Isis, the chief deity of the island. The temple is associated with various love story sagas.
